i'm over in Amsterdam at the mo - gave 1740 a buzz before travelling and they said there would be no problems as long as I selected the O2 network when I arrived - so I've been GPRSing on O2 NL without any problems (but just for mail and web on the 7650) - left MMS switched to 'home net only' - I think they worked on roaming wihtin the O2 group first, so I'm not sure about GPRS roaming France - the Internet / WAP Support team on 1740 should be able to advise you
