    Its a hoax, don't delete the file. I'd suggest a quick trip to google would be a good place to try first if you have concerns.

    thie "virus" you have been warned about is a hoax. Under NO circumstances delete the JDBGMGR.EXE file. JDBGMGR.EXE is the Microsoft Debugger Registrar for Java. If you delete this file you will have problems with:

    * Internet
    * Windows Operaions
    * Dial-ups

    These types of hoax are designed by people who want to do damage to other perople's computers but do not know how to write a virus.
    These hoax virri work in a 3 edged attack.

    1. They take up server resources by people sending it too all members in their address book

    2. They take up computer service technicians time in corporations who have the e-mail reported to them.

    3. They do damage to the computers as often a person will in fact delete the file "infected".

    If you receive any E-mails such as these, or any e-mail that warns of a virus, try putting the virus name into the search grid at nai.com. The Virus Libury is located at: http://vil.nai.com/vil/alphar.asp

    No, you won't. In fact, unless you are a java developer, there is no need for this file on your machine. And a java developer should have more sense then to delete it.

    Zab.

    ^What Zab said.

    This mail seems to be doing the rounds at a furious rate - at least most of those who trust the contents and delete the file won't be affected by it.
