Are there any good second hand stores to go hunting for instruments, mainly a guitar in Dublin apart from the main music shops? If you'd mention any, it would be highly appreciated.

I don't know of any guitar shops that deal souly in second hand guitars but,

I know a lot of the guitar shops, do sell second hand stuff ask the staff about it + look at the notices that ppl put up.

    Try Buy and Sell

Try pawn shops, they usualy have 3 brass balls above the door.

Cash converters are very bad in my experience. Poor items at high prices.

You have to be careful with those, there are a LOT of fake JEM's around.

Ireland has a Cash Converters ?:(
I don't like them places, they've a terrible stigma attached imo. Maybe it's not warranted but there's some things I don't like about them.

Pawn shops in general are a haven for the sale of stole guitars. Not sure how bad the problem is here but elsewhere it's kinda sh!t. There's even an album called "Pawn Shop Guitars" by ex Gunner Gilby Clarke :D

    Plus 1 on adverts.ie
Cuts out the middle man, the Music FS was split there a while ago to try and clean it up but it could probably do some more tidying up :)
