    So who do you think will get bought and sold over the next few weeks?Heres a few I've heard being mentioned

    Man Utd want a striker, most likely Eidur Gudjohnsen for £10M or Djibril Cisse for £10M

    Arsenal want a defender, maybe Stephen Carr but not til summer when his contract is up.

    Newcastle want a defender, could be Jaap Stam for £10M (probably won't happen)

    Man City want a defender aswell, and believe it or not, they want Stam aswell. And Stam said that type of move interests him.

    West Ham, Bolton, Sunderland are all probably just going to get players on loan.

    The rest are expected to remain relatively queit.

    So what do the rest of you think?

    I'd say if anyone is coming to United its Marcelo Salas. He's a proven striker and is supposed to be looking for a move away from Italy. I think I read somewhere that he wants to move to United. But I wouldn't be surprised if United didn't sign anyone in the transfer window.

    Liverpool are buying everyone going if you belive the 58 pence a min phone lines and no-one at all if you belive Houllier. :(

    Apparently Fowler is on his way to man city for about 7mill. Now theres a bargin.

    Also, Dugarry is about to sign for Birmingham. Why I don't know!! and he is available on a freebie!

    I'd say Newcastle will sign a defender. Woodgate has been mentioned for 10 mill. A bit to much if you ask me!!!

    If only Souness would get Stam ... but 10 mil, for a bloke his age .. is a bit too much.
    But he seems to think he might get alpay cheap enuff of the Villians.

    everyone is going somewhere else !

    according to the combined rumours about chelsea we'll be left with only 4 players by next week , persistent rumours about Jimmy Floyd going to Barca (which would be daft right now) and Gudjonsen going to Man U , sincerely hope that doesnt happen

    now if only Bogarde would be linked with someone !

    seems to be a very quiet transfer market , I thought leeds would be active but guess they have no cash , amazed keegan has found the 7 million supposedly for fowler , city seem to be reasonably safe in mid table , thought it would make more sense to wait til the summer though.

    Everton got Brian mc Bride interesting signing as cover for Campbell who seems to have played in all of Evertons games which is strange considering his injuries.
