How much time do you spend online???

Perharps it is in the wrong section but you can move it ya like.

So how much time do you spen online a week.

Me roughly I spend about 6 hours a day on the inter net 5 days a week so bout 30 hours a week. sometimes more sometimes less.

Then again my work involves going on the internet.

Well due to the fact the internet uses the main household line, I don't get online as often as I'd like. I would go online about 3 hours a day and maybe about 6 hours on Saturdays and Sundays. So that's 27 hours +- 5hrs

If only I had ADSL...... :rolleyes:

i get in from work or college at 6 everday mon - thursday so i play counterstrike for 2 hours. Thats 8 hours. Weekend when im clearing a hangover thats about another 8 hours.

4 x 5hr shifts in work + 5hrs in college, 5 days a week = roughly 45 hours a week.

That said though, I'm usually doing 20 things at once, so it's broken time on the net. Most of it spent reading ****e and refreshing boards.ie.

3/4 hrs aday at home

on average about 50-70hrs a week

The 150 hours is how long im 'on' the internet, comp connects at 6, and i tend to drift in and out going training etc, but thanks to utvip i just connect and 6 and leave it on till late. Fair amount of 'my' actual time online is me in college or late night at home playing cs (i refer you to the addicted to cs thread

all day sat and sunday if im not out or playin soccer etc...

about 3 or 4 hours a day when i bother to turn on the PC. on the weekends about 5 hours a day. i love Kazaa and my burner

At home, I'm online for about 2-3 hours in the evenings every day or two... probably about 40-50 hours a month.

8hours weekdays = 8 x 5 = 40, usually 10 hours saturday = 50 + umm buss comes home 7, get home in 10 mins...= 7.10pm - 2am = 6 hours and 50 mins = 56 hours, + say bout 4 hours extra usually here and there = 60 hours a week by 4 weeks = 240 hours a month. yep thats it....all that time i do chat, relax and work on websites....but yet i'm not obsessed , just nothing better 2 do and money wise it isn't a prob....i'm on no limits.

from when I arrive in work in the morning until I go home in the evenings. I have boards on in the backround all day. I would not mind but I recently compiled a report about internet abuse in the work place.
honest internet time a month I would say 100hours. Not all fun related. I have to work now and then.

Most of the day pc is always on and internet is always on

Pc is in kitchen so handy for quick games ,surfing general dloading

about 5 - 6 hours in daily and about 1 hour in the evening checking personal emails in logging on here and I try to stay away from my lappy on the weekends

Just recently got broadband so my time has gone way up, and its in my room. Thank god its loud so i cant play it too late cause ill wake my parents next door, and I cant leave it on at night cause i cant sleep.

When Im in school probably 9-11 hours a week, mostly on weekends tho and wednesday.
But during the Xmas holiday, holy crap!
I dont watch tv anymore..ever! I dont spend anymore time at home, but Im just on my computer when ever I am.
Id say 25hours a this week at least

But it'll be back to normal in a week

2-3 a day in work. Someone mentioned internet abuse in the work place! I put it down as R&D :-) A few hours a week at home. I thought I was bad but some of the posts on this thread make me look like I have a life.

atleast thats according to about 4/5 people ive spoke to in the team i play with..

Anyway time i spend on the net is dependant, well work has its own private network so im on the net a good part of the day, then i have ISDN at home so i usually spend a good few hours shuffling around.

People asked why is it we people who use the net for 4/5 hours when we get home from work. Two words = Multiplayer Gaming

i play q3, tfc, ut2k3, sof2 and AoE

i dont know how many hours though, i can spend 5 hours or so on the net some days at work and then i go home and chill out while playing games on the net, which can also be anywhere from 2-5 hours, not to mentioning being on IRC. 50-70 hours a week, there or there abouts anyway

I spend 200 hours a month online on average. Once in a blue moon, I might only spend 190. Other times its 220. And thats almost all actively being online.

about 2- 4 hrs a day in work then from 8:30 pm - 12 at home

weekends now getting taken up by gf and drinking ... gf always getting in way ..... bah who needs girls when you have your hand anyways

and tomtom shouldnt you actually be trying to help them get onto the net in a way no one can see ? u do know life is ment to be one rule for all :P

Um, god knows. Most of my work and hobbies involve the net in some way, so when I'm at home, I'm usually online. At least ten hours a day I guess, probably closer to 12 most days.

I can give up any time I want! I'd just be, well, very bored and out of work. So I don't.

Used to average 40hrs a week, but that would include in work (work also involved internet), and when I was living in Malahide and not on a painfully slow exchange in Drumcondra. I've since cancelled my ISP until i can get the situation sorted out.

I think I'm getting ADSL with esat for 90 euro/ month so I'll probably be back to 40hrs/week soon

A rather scary 48 hours a week I'd reckon... around 35 in work (which involves a lot of net stuff anyway), and 12 or 13 at home.

So whats that... around 190 or so a month.

Too freakin much. Damn you boards.ie why did you have to be so addictive!!! And damn Shayk also for he is the one who led me astray. Now I have no interest in, or desire to, work! Oh well I guess I'll be failing this year then. eg I'm supposed to be doing a 50 page reeport that's due in in less than a week but I've spent the last two hours in here. Oh damn the college and it's broadband connection too!!!!!!!!!

I spend way way way too much time on the net.

I reckon when i'm at home I spend about half and hour to an hour on line (as my Dad is paying the phone bills he goes nuts if I spend any longer online). So that totals to about 5 or 6 hours a week, but thats only at home.

At college, because we all have free internet access from any pc in the building, i'm usually on line as long as i'm in the actual college. put another way, even when i'm in a lab i'll have the net open (usually minimized). So i'd say on average i spend about 4-5 hours a day online in college, multiple that by 5 days and ya get 25 hours.

Then forgetting the weekends, I might as well add another 5 hours or more so ya could be looking at an overall total of 35 to 40 hours a week online.
