Did anybody else hear the advertisement during the Arsenal v Liverpool match yesterday about Alan Green's 6 0 6 programme becoming Live and Interactive on BBC1 Television complete with cameras in studio swell beginning this Saturday 4th Jan.

I guess if this turns out to be happening we in ROI will get this dreaded message again ' Sorry this service is not available to viewers in Republic Of Ireland'

The last time I watched interactive footie on BBC ONE, it was working and had the choice of TV commentary, 5Live commentary or just the crowd noise. Very good so it was.

I heard this also. I would guess that it will not be possible to view it here without an FTV card.

6-0-6 is a great programme. However it is debatable how successful cameras in the studio will be. 6-0-6 is essentially a *radio* talk show and my guess is that looking at Alan Green or Jonathan Pearce in the 5Live studio talking to callers at the other end of a phone line won't be all that interesting for very long. Sky try to do a TV phone-in show - 'You're On Sky Sports' and this can be somewhat tedious at times.
