as far as connectivity goes it is possible to have one dish and multiple boxes (I've run 3 boxes from my single dish).

As far as getting a good deal from Sky....no luck yet....in the UK they have "mirror" subscriptions where you get a 2nd identical subscription for a lower price (last time I looked it was a tenner or something similar). In Ireland you'll be paying full wack for a 2nd card.

You have 3 boxes, so is it possible to huck up the boxes, so i can watch my family pack without a extra card?
is that what u have done?
Does this mean the extra boxs only have SKy news, cnn and the other ones?

    thanks for the reply

The answer to this is yes and no.
You will need a dual or quad lnb on your dish to operate a second or third box .
The extra boxes if they have no card will only have the FTA channels such as Sky news ,TCM etc, etc.

But you can put your family pack card from your Subscription box into another box and you will receive all the family pack channels except RTE 1, N2,BBC1 and BBC2.
your best option is to buy a box on ebay with a ftv card to use as your second box.
But you are best waiting to do this for now as, the cards are going to change sometime in the new year and you dont want to be stuck with an unworking FTV card.
