Good film, plot unoriginal, mafia - hit man, betray hit man - hit man kicks ass. But this time the hit man is an African American samurai... sounds amusing, and there is a lot of humor in it e.g. mob boss always seem to be looking at cartoons!?

Well worth a watch if you come across it.

I dunno, I found it pretty boring in parts. It definitely had good moments, but alot of seemed to be just him driving around with rap music playing in the background.

That's a really good film, yes. I also just happened upon it by accident, just saw it was on TV and decided to watch it. I'm glad I did too.

It's fairly familiar Jarmusch territory but the soundtrack is incredible! Not his best film but enjoyable. Stupid f***ing White Man.

The bit where the bum gets mugged and unleashes some Lau Gar style kung fu on the mugger is pure class.

I enjoyed the movie, personally, but any film centred around hip-hop and kung fu is going to get my vote.:p

[edit] I know that 'Samurai' were Japanese warriors but hey, I'm not a purist

the rza came thru with a great score. such a shame the ost was crap, but the score can be gotten on japanese import
