    Hi,

is anybody using this SMC Router (sharptex are recommending them) ?

I have it installed and it is working fine as long as I dont enable the "on demand" of the 2nd ISDN line.
Once the 2nd line dials up the router is getting confused and is disconnecting.

    Questions :
Is anybody using this router successfully with the optional 2nd line ?
    What ISP ?
What settings on the router ?

    Thanks

Does your ISP account specifically support 128k - because if it don't, the router might end up with multiple IP adressess and be getting confused by this.

Is that any warmer? Can you post more detail of this confusion?

Like zenith said, does your ISP support 128k connections?
You could always try dialling into Oceanfree, they support 128k connections, see if it works on that.

I am using a free eircom account at the moment but will try
    and use oceanfree.

Do you have to set up an account with them to get a user/password or is there a generic dial-up no. and user/password ?

    Thanks

Eircom free only supports 64k connections.
Oceanfree's number is in the FAQ
