Subject says it all, really. REM are playing Marley Park next Summer (I don't have an exact date - sometime in July I think). Tickets are on sale tomorrow.

12,000 capacity - I imagine tickets will be sold out in less than 15 minutes.

    - Dave.

Dunno about Marley Park.....have a natural distaste for all outdoor gigs anyhow but Marley Park just brings images of a 30something crowd standing around politely. Horrible place to try to get to and from also.
Why oh why cant we get a decent indoor venue in Dublin.....

Yeah, the official REM site www.remhq.com was wrong, I heard on Today FM, last night, that they were going on sale this morning.

Checked the site this morning and no joy, so I rang Ticketmaster, at quarter to nine, this morning, and got my tickets!

I don't think that you were able to book through the website until at least half nine.... not sure if they are sold out (yet).

Got my tickets and I live about a Mile away from Marley!! Woohoo!

Has Anybody ever been to Marley Park before when a gig was on?

As if its not bad enough having to trek to dublin for any decent gigs, then they go and stick the concert somewhere in the suburbs. Turns me off going, why not Landsdowne like the last time they played, easy to get to. Not that REM were very good, disappointing live band, wouldn't go to see them again and certainly not in Marlay Park..................
