What would be your ideal concert?
Mine would be a wayne-stock style festival, featuring : AC/DC, Guns N' Roses (original lineup), Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Van Halen and Rammstein!!!
It would take place inthe field behind my house, over a weekend (Friday - Sunday) there would be 15,000 people there, everyone would get 1 free pint and a free festival t-shirt!
It would be the best gig ever!
However, if anyone feels they can think of a better bill, I'd like to hear it!

    Mine would be...

    Pantera (Headlining)
    Down
    Led Zeppelin
    Black Sabbath
    In Flames
    Slayer
    AC/DC
    Ozzy Osbourne
    Fear Factory
    Superjoint Ritual
    Diamond Head
    Iced Earth

All of this in whatever order necessary (with the exception of Pantera headlining). All bands would play for an hour (apart from Pantera with two hours). The festival would start at 10am and would finish at 11pm.

Free drink for everyone, with lots of weed stalls aswell (no police). Moshing, stage diving and crowd surfing all allowed.

In kind of an order -
    In Flames (leading)
    Dark tranquility
    Black Sabbath
    Nightwish
    Iced Earth
    Blind Guardian
    Iron Maiden
    Hammerfall

Each band plays for 3hours..... 24hours of rocking!
(security is kept to a minimum, and crowd surfing, moshing etc is allowed, and falling asleep while Blind Guardian playing is illegal *looks at AW accusingly*)

'One' free pint. LOL! How about all free beer included in the ticket price? And instead of a t-shirt, a special festival survival bag with kebab, sunscreen, plastic sheet, wellies, condom and alkaseltzer. The bag can then double as a sickbag.

I've no problem hosting the gig in the field behind your house as long as mum doesn't mind 15,000 metallers peeing, puking and crapping everywhere, oh, and she can put up with the little bit of extraneous noise from the 250,000 watt PA. As for bands, keep Rammstein on the bill, but we also need Manowar, Exodus, Archenemy, Deicide and Judas Priest (with Halford). A nice mix to keep everyone happy.

er...if I get bored can I watch TV with your sister:)?

So everyone could see all their favs without having to run from one stage to another - one single stage

    First day
    Irish Talent

    Corrupted
    Revile
    Mael Mordha
    and loads more :)

    Second Day

    Obituary
    Testament
    Death
    Suicidal Tendencies
    Megadeth
    Metallica
    Slayer
    Ozzy
    Black Sabbath (Ozzy in line-up)
    Carcass
    In Flames
    Anthrax

ah hell just loads of bands I like :)

Free beer and cider for anyone, and for those who just come along to get drunk and start sh*t - they are personally handed an ass kicking by everyone ;)

mmmm all good line ups, love to through bottles at S club 7 too, better then littering ....LOL

instead of one headline act, how about 3-5 top bands on stage at once, alternating who sings, and maybe joining together for some songs??

imagine Cradle of Filth, rammstein, Iced Earth, In Flames and Opeth on stage at once! insane id say!!

    • Judas Priest (Halford)
    • Oasis (Don't like it? Sue me!)
    • Red Hot Chili Peppers

    I'd have a 3 day event.

Loads of local talent for the first 4 hours or so of the days.

Day 1 would have bands like System of a Down, Otep, Slipknot etc - let's call it Nu day :) Headlined by Deftones.

Day 2 will be ****ing nuts - Nile, Kryptopsy, Entombed, Hardcore stuff like that. Headlined by Slayer!

Day 3 will be a little easier - Soulfly, Rammstein, Foo Fighters and Pantera will be headlining.

Beer won't be free, but there'll be off-licence things selling whatever.

People will wander the crowds and camping areas selling cakes and stuff with extra special ingredients (bit like Reading).

    It would be;
    Day 1;
    Aerosmith (headline)
    Van Halen
    System of a Down
    Stone Roses
    Weezer
    Led Zeppelin
    Day 2;
    Metallica (Headline)
    John Lennon
    Black Sabbath
    Pantera
Electric 6 (only for shock Value)
Grandmaster Flash & The Furious 5
    Oasis

Mine would have no free beer, to keep the beliigerent drunkards out. There will be only me and any crowd of my approval there. Anyone wearing black denim will be burnt.

    Lineup:
    AC DC
    Boards of Canada
    Portishead
    Leftfield
    Missy Elliot
    Therapy?
The Pixies (since eveyone else is naming make-believe bands)
    Queens of the Stone Age
    Bjork

and, to wrap it all up...

    Joe Strummer.

Possibly whack in Manowar there, to keep the fantasy metalheads happy.

    That sounds pretty good.
Apart from Missy Elliot, and QotSA...

This is bizarre, no sooner had I posted that, Joe Strummer died. This was a couple of hours after watching that Clash documentary "Westway to the World" in a mates.

If I have this effect, I would like to mention the following people in the hope that they can all have heart attacks:

    David Gray
    David Kitt
    Paddy Casey
    Mundy
    Damien Rice

    :)
