I don't think I'm alone when I say I'm addicted to the simpsons
So I came up with the idea for it to have it's own forum.
Hell it's got its own skin here.
Not sure if it's been suggested before but may as well ask.

Topics could include a schedule for the programme, a favorite episode a quote thread etc.

So would anyone else agree ?

Maybe a Cartoon/Animation Community is good

Simpsons, Futurama, King o the Hill, Southpk

...but suppose we extend the boards beyond the two dimensions of our universe into a hypotehetical "Z" axis...

Much as I like The Simpsons, I don't think it really needs a whole board to itself. I can't really see a lot of traffic for it.

obviously a brill episode seeing as how you replyed twice! :p

an idea but one wonders would it have sufficent traffic to support the creation of a forum of its own.

Lameme's idea is maybe a better suggestion.

Lameme actually had a good point there.. despite him being banned now lol..
Hmm it's not like the Television board is overflowed with simpsons threads as it is..

Spare us, whats next a soap opera board?

Surely there has to be some sort of limit to the spead of "trivial" boards?

    Mike.

although theres not much simpson traffic as it is i think that if u added the board the traffic wid pick up.

maybe, as lamane said, have a Cartoon board, family guy, futurama etc.........

    Supported :)

I think a general cartoon board makes sence would be plenty of traffic for it. Sorta like how the games forum covers the pc and all the different consoles.

yeah maybe a cartoon board would be better. Gives it a slightly broader topic range but can still be spammed with simpson topics! :D

    omfg

a "can i have a new board" thread with 14 replies and not one of them concerning kittencake! has the world gone mad?,has gordon been lacking in his scouring of said boards? could amp be dead? or did it just get really, really old?

    find out next week,
    same bat time,
    same bat forum.

I don't understand what you mean Carbine? Are you suggesting that certain people are hijacking Forum request threads in order to highlight the plight of the poor oppressed Kittencake movement?

Surely not!? After all, that is not the Kittencake way!

(Voting Kittencake can cause lung cancer and shortens your life.)

Its a bad idea, there could be cubes, or as i like to call them frinkahedrons, the size of gorillas in there.

Your sig could wind up backfiring Carbine, with all these terribly droll kittencake threads. *Yawn*.

haha brill.. although they're clutching at straws somewhat with this one:
    Now, back to Sarah!
    Sarah
Imagine two girls at a gifted school playing patty-cake while chanting digits of Pi:
Transparency 8 - Chanting digits of Pi
    Digits of Pi, Lisa's Sax (3G02, 10/19/97)

Two girls at a gifted school play patty-cake while chanting the digits of pi:
Cross my heart and hope to die
Here's the digits that make pi
    3.1415926535897932384...

I played this for my liberal arts students and asked whether the patty-cake game would ever end. Some students said yes - they had plugged Pi into their calculator and the digits had stopped - others said no or that they didn't know. This was a good starting point to discuss the irrationality of Pi and the fact that this meant that not only would the patty-cake game never end, but it would also never get repetitive since the decimal expansion would never repeat. Of course, depending on your definition of boring, it certainly would get boring after a while.

wow. what an amazing lesson plan and a complete waste of a class.
