    What part is broken, because I've got a Playstation with a fuked-up lazer, but the rest is fine.
    Swap a few bits around...

    not too sure.

    last i saw the cd aligner was broken, but at this stage i suspect my brother has been playing frisbee with it

    Well, you can buy a replacement lazer/motor unit for £20. Not sure where, but try Gamesworld on Abbey St.
