    Folks,

I wonder could anyone tell me if there any issues regarding loss of quality or break ups with the installation of a quad LNB for a sky mini dish?
And also what would be the the best make and where would I go to purchase one (Ireland/England) at the best price?

Thanks for the help (sorry if this has been dealt with previously)

If the receiver is fine then there should be no loss of signal. I did install one where it showed up a defective tuner which worked fine on a single LNB. AFAIK Phillips is the only make available.

Checkout http://www.satellite.ie/acatalog/Dishes_and_Lnb_s.html and please let me know how the price compares with others.

I can confirm that the quad LNB causes no problems with quality. I am running two boxes from it.

There was also no problem with installing it, as it came with a type of adapter that suits most (if not all) types of mini-dish.

hey Bluefish. You only need a dual LNB for 2 decoders remeber. You could try here who charge £50stg of a dual LNB but shipping is a further £20stg. They also have quads for £65stg.

Having looked at Tony's site (your prices have come down) I'd go with Tony and you'll have no problem with customer service.

Not 100% positive, but I think that the dual LNBs don't match the mini-dish.

Thanks, with the bigger volumes I can get a bigger discount from suppliers so always trying to get things lower. Thank good Charlie did not increase the higher VAT rate:D

    Tony,

How much should it cost (obviously inner around) to install the quad and put a cable through to upstairs and the downstairs of the house?
And do I need a larger dish than the minidish to fit the quad?? as I have been told I need by one by an installer I have been in touch with!

Difficult to say without seeing cable runs, reckon on around 45 euro per hour

No the quad on my site was made specificially for the mini dish, who ever told you that was either mis informed or mis selling.
