    Aston Villa 5 0 Preston North End
    Chelsea 4 1 Everton
    Wigan 2 0 Fulham
    Blackburn 5 0 Rotherham

    Liverpool once again were not good.

    They are hardly interested in all honesty mike, bit like us we played a very young midfield but sprinkled with 1st teamers, thing Sir A is undecided on wheather he wants in or out of it.

    An awful pity they got the draw I had a tenner on Ipswich at 7-1. I also did not think the Pool would be pushed about this competiton so I figured it was worth a punt.

    The Cup holders are putting up a good defense of there trophy this year!

    And it was good to see that most 'Big Clubs' fielded strong teams, eg united and 'pool. One of the commentators mentioned that 4 out of the top 5 teams in the premiership were still involved this week.

    That helps to keep the interest level high!
