Hi,

Just tonight I have gotten a small problem with IE and maby ye might be able to help? Across from the Address bar in IE there is a small button pointing down that when you click on it it shows you all the URL's that you have visited for the last while. The problem I have is since tonight is when I click on it IE freezes up for ages and eventually it drops down the menu and shows you all the URL's. Is there a reason for this happening? Or how can I rectify it / stop IE from freezing up when I click on it?

Had this problem before on my old man's rig. First things first: make sure the browser is up to date and fully patched:

one of the urls may be in the format

    file://

    not

    http://

and may refer to a CD that is no longer in the drive....that can cause knickerattack

Thanks to you both. Clearing the History seems to have worked fine but I think I will take adam's advoice too and go update my browser as well.
