I'm not even sure I can spell it!

Anyways how do I convince the family that a 2.1m dish on the shed/workshop roof at back of garden would be really nice.

It would be sort of obvious.

Even the neighbours might balk.

I *might* even offer to take down 1 or 2 of the *FIVE* I have on the workshop roof at the moment (one is only an MMDS dish, three are 80/90 offset feed and one mounted above a 80/90 cm dish is a center feed 1m dish).


Any Ideas folks?

Would 2.1m be big enough for "C-Band" anyway?

I don't really watch much. This week it was one or two Babylon 5 episodes (on VHS), each night. I'm missing about 1/2 of first 4 seasons and nearly all Season 5. I got the tapes less than €2 each in Parkway, Limerick. Original price £15stg. Most seem deleted now & there are problems with the DVD season 1 box set just released in USA.

I might watch CNN or BBC World TV news before I get up (I won't see RTE news that time of day will I?)

Any other suggestions about Dish?

Did I mention that one dish is on bottom of a 15ft radio mast holding up a 10ft long 2 element colinear array?

I saw a picture once in a What Sat magazine of a big 2m dish but it was mesh an did not look too bad. I take you are going for a solid dish!
