I thought Total Guitar was quite good. But usually when I buy a Guitar magazine it's because there's something special that would appeal to me on it.

I never buy a partcular one every month.

    Total Guitar or Guitar World
I useualy only buy these if they contain tabs or lessons from a perticular artist. Apparently you can learn lots from them not just how to play but who's who and so on.
Some of them do gear reviews and come with CD's and things...

Found it good as well - even made me learn some stuff outside of what I would normally consider. The lessons/tabs etc. are all graded beginner - advanced, and a lot of the stuff has a demo and backing track on the cd, followed by just the backing track (bass and drums, rythym guitar if it's a lead piece or vice versa).

Yup, monthly. Can get it in Eason's in Derry, so I'm supposing it's equally available in Eason's in Doeblin.
