How do you pronounce "boardsie"?

For a long time I hadn't realised "boardsie" = "boards.ie and it would often cause consternation for me when reading a thread - is "boardsie" a proper noun, an adjective ...

I think it might've been a glitch, but when I first came along it was brudes.ei, and I've called it such ever since. But yes, I pronounce the dot in brudes.ei.

When I'm thinking to myself I say 'boardsie' or just boards, but if I'm saying it to The Outsiders (er... people who might not know what 'boardie/boards' is), I say boards.ie.

Can ye all go back and read the question? I'm referring to when people miss the "." and simply type "boardsie". I usually find it difficult to immediately comprehend "boardsie" is "boards.ie"

Yeah, I refer to "boards" to people in the know, "boards.ie" to those not.
