Matching FTV card to an already subbed box

I know this may have been asked somewhere before but has anyone recently tried to match a FTV card to an already subbed Irish box?

The card is already activated in a non subbed box but the box is playing up.

If I ring with all the details and ask to change are they likely to cross-check??

Data protection act. They arn't allowed to cross check.

You ring and tell them (FTA number) box is replaced. Give them new details.

    That's what I thought.

Any ideas what might happen with the new cards. I imagine that the subbed card would get the update without any problem but the other??

Change done over the phone and card activated before I put the phone down. No questions asked and no problems so far.

I'll have to wait and see what might happen when the new subbed card comes. Does anyone know if the multiple card to one box will stuill be possible, be it multiple FTV cards as our friend Carrolls has, or my set up??
