I am back. Just when you think you get your line up sorted out, blammo your guitarist says "Nah man, not into your style".

Here we go again (I am sure this is Déja Vu; no thats another post somewhere):

We are a blues/rock/funk band based in South Dublin. Collectively we have a load of playing experience and we all really can play quite well, but for some reason no-one is into the music we do. Specifically we cover:

Stones/Zepplin/Chili's/Free/Hendrix/Pearl Jam and just about every other band of a similar genre.

Originals, of which there are plenty, are along the same sort of style as the covers listed.

We are looking for a guitarist that a) is familiar with the covers and b) who if they answer the f***ing ad do not turn around after rehearsal and say "Sorry, the style isnt for me".

Any guitarists that like the sort of genre we're into, like to play for a good time and make some cash along the way, please respond. If it is not you're thing don't respond, rehearse etc.

Usually when a guitarist says that, it means, your shíte. :)
No really you should advertise in town too. There are plenty of people who play guitar who can get bands!

    Hi,
Look at the handle, the influence is obvious, I have had to suffer, Tina Turner covers, the Dubliners(no dis) and many more just for the love of playing.
I play and sing and also compose, transpose and sometime decompose!

I did'nt catch what age you boys are so I'll go ahead and tell ya mine. I'm 19 years old and for five of them years I've been working on the axe.

I'm a guitarist from the Cabinteely area, primarily into the Who, Zeppelin, The Beatles, The Stones etc. I also love Joni Mitchell, Eva Cassidy, Robert Johnson, Wille dixon, Django Reinhardt etc. I also play the mandolin which can add a nice variation. If you're interested let me know.

    Cheers
