Combining BUPA Essential Plus with VHI HealthSteps?

Didn't know whether to post this in After Hours or Personal Issues

Does anyone know if it's possible to combine BUPA's Essential Plus with VHI HealthSteps?
BUPA appear cheaper for hospital cover but VHI appear better for every-day cover.

Hang on. you mean we dont have a health board? I think this is better suited to personal issues for the time being.

As for buying two different private health packages not sure that would work, does'nt it have to be one or the other?

I've just been to both VHI and BUPA and got a quote for thier most expensive schemes, one was €4 cheaper than the other! So much for competition.
