Yeah, in some cases we have to use DoubleClick because the client has a big campaign going on on many websites and wants to track stats from lots of places in one place.

Anyway, I dunno why they are buying ads, much more expensive then a commercial interaction board and better for them AND for us (members).

Well, if Mr02 is reading this, The ad has worked to a certain extent.

For the last few months ive been willing to trade a testicle for one of them mms phones, but i didnt realise they were available here. I assume they are now, so maybe ill wander down to the carphone warehouse tommorow :)

Edit: Arghh  I clicked on the ad and it opened in the same window. PLEASE admins, make ads behave like normal links on this site and open in a new window .....PWEASE :)

I dunno about these MMS phones... theres going to be war about them I think!

Invasion of privacy etc... I mean think about the Vodefone ad... and what it will be like now!!

"I'm fnckin' de mot!... How are ye?"

Any number of cases of "mate-left-his-phone-behind-lets-send-his-g/f-a-shot-of-our-arses"

Already my gym has banned them. Not, you understand, that I ever actually go to the gym :)

they must read the wireless forum, they've been salivating about the 7650 in there for a while with a thread on how to fix scratches on the display already

+ the 7650 comes with stuff called 'bluetoot' built in which gets all the skangers interested when they hear about it on skanger FM

Now that is what i call a good ad., under 20k, good graphics and no pop-up BS. Thanks DeV for making the Racket^H^H^H^H^H^Hmarketeers listen. I'm so happy I even clicked on it.

On the whole privacy issue, make sure you don't accept one of these phones as a work phone ... You won't be able to stop the boss from checking up at regular times as to whether you are working on site or not.

And the whole privacy thing will become a nightmare.

Our lecturer in college had one of those for a trial this week. He took a picture of us and was then able to upload it on to his laptop thru IR (he can't get bluetooth to work even those he has a card for it) and display it on the projector. Must say the picture was very blurred and fuzzy. Don't know if this is down to our lecturer or the phone.

Oh and when the ad opens it in the current window they redirect the site once so you can't use the back button in windows to go back. You have to select the drop down.
