Okay, got some time to fill and I'm off to LA for a few days (yay cheap flights, yay cheap hotels). Can anyone recommend some good sites regarding things to do, how to get around etc?

If you like Rollercoasters: 6 flags magic mountain (the X is unbelievable).

If you like eating: Anywhere in the Marina Del Ray.

    If you like drive-bys: Inglewood.

If you like trashy merchandise: Venice Beach.

I reccomend you take one of those cheesy 'see the star's homes' tours as well- Aaron Spelling's gaff is mental.

Budget quite a bit for travelling expenses- the place is juuuuust massive.
