    Sorry if this is the wrong forum - but I heard that the new 'Office' series which finished on BBC2 last night, is to be shown (6 back-to-back episodes) next Saturday night on BBC Choice.

    That will fit nicely on to a 3 hour tape.

    presumably if it's on DVD, the BBC shop might have it on video :)

    Can we get BBC Choice in ROI or are you guys in NI?

    These lads are mostly south of the border, and some of them have what are called FTV cards from the UK. These cards allow folk to watch BBC Choice and the other BBC Digital channels, including ITV and Channel 4 and five on Sky Digital.
    eth0_, do you have Sky Digital?

    Yes, I do, I also have a sister who lives in Belfast, will this help me get an FTV card through her address or can I get them 'on the sly'?
    Although I doubt i'll get it before the 'The Office' night :(

    Even better!

    As long as she has a TV licence, you can get her to get you a FTV (BBC) card. Theres no "on the sly" way of getting BBC Choice, is really is the best way.

    Then just follow these instructions.. http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?s=&threadid=37638

    Cloud might love ye for it too. You can get 4 per household. :D

    Oh excellent! 4 you say....don't you need 4 individual digibox serial numbers for each card? And won't my s/n come up as being in Dublin?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,726 ✭✭✭✭DMC

    Yes, but you can space them out, like, activate one a week or one a month for instance.... You dont need the numbers of the boxes when you order the cards. Only when you receive the cards in the post and are ready to activate the cards do you ring back up the helpline, and they turn them on.

    As for serial numbers, so far for the lads here, there has been no real problems in this regard.

    <edit: spurious question mark :) >

    I have a spare digibox at home anyway so I can just give that s/n if it's needed.

    Thanks for the help guys!
