    Whoops probably a typo. As proven I wasn't following them around I just ask wtf it meant (I didn't have my cardboard axe with built in scientific calculator on me).

    Yes a translation would be nice for those of us who don't see just "see" the code "blonde, red-head," ala the Matrix.

    copy the lines into a file called "muppet.txt"
    open "muppet.txt" for input as #1
    do while not eof(1)
     line input #1, a$
     y = 0
     for n = 8 to 1 step -1
      x = 2 ^ (8 - n)
      if mid$(a$,n,1) = "1" then y = y + x
     next n
     print chr$(y);
    loop
    close #1

    S'just numbers smile.gif

    I'll explain in Kharn's Binary For Non-Prgrammers...
    Binary is easy. It follows a sequence.
    0000 = 0 in decimal
    0001 = 1 in decimal
    0010 = 2 in decimal
    0011 = 3
    0100 = 4
    0101 = 5
    0110 = 6
    0111 = 7
    1000 = 8
    ...and so on

    Now, you do the sums!

    All the best,

    Dav

    Err, or if you know bin - hex conversions off it's a lot quicker than any calc.exe.

    Of course, it helps if you've been reading assembler opcodes for the last 5 hours smile.gif

    Got to admit, the ascii threw me off for a minute, feicin ebcdic has me ruined... stupid IBM!

    FYI Hobbes original post is "YOU RE STUPD".

    I think we should start using binary to circumvent the bad words censor on the boards.
    My head hurts.
