From NYC to where?!? Tiny bit vauge ain't ya! ;-)

If it's to Dublin then I'd recommend looking at www.aerlingus.ie or www.ebookers.ie

If it's domestic US flights then check out www.expedia.com and company plus www.jetblue.com are excellent too.

To be honest you'll be doing well to find a cheap fare this late in the year for December. For travel in early Dec you might be lucky but for travel anywhere close to Christmas it's very unlikely there's any really cheap fares left.. Best of luck though!

sadly ebookers only books flights out of ireland , not into it?

I did a check on travel select with a dept from jfk of Dec 8th and return of 15th January
Economy cheapest fare was $367 including taxes
Via London to Dublin changing at Heathrow

There were two options cheaper than aer lingus in that search

Aer Lingus were doing flights at €99 each way excluding tax recently, but I don't know if the offer's still running.

currently they appear to be only offering Baltimore at €109 and thats valid for march to may only, for us folks here on the Irish side of the Atlantic.
This is their latest sale.
