I got an iBook dual USB model just under a year ago,and sometimes find that the hinge makes a loud, cracking sound when I open it.It works fine apart from that, and really the only problem is the noise. It seems to be a problem others have had,and apparently Apple will fix it if you are within your warrenty period.Anyone else have this problem? Is it worth the hassle of trying to get Apple Ireland to fix it?

It's just stiff, which is better than it being loose. ;) Open the lid in one smooth movement and it doesn't happen..

    Teeth.
