7650 on speakeasy

    its coming out very soon at around 550euros!!
    you do get 120 euros free credit though?
    Im also informed it will be locked to the actual sim you buy with it?
    Not having a data cable or standard nokia software, it is supposed to be very hard to unlock? (prove me wrong!!)

    You need two pieces of equipment: (i) the unique seperating device used to pry open the unit which allows the flashing unit access to the phone & (ii) a flashing unit. I'm unaware of any other way to unlock the Nokia 7650.

    How much is the 7650 on o2 now, i heard it dropped in price? Because the o2 website is so crappy its impossible to find the actual price on prepaid or bill, anybody care to enlighten me on the o2 7650 pricings.

    As regarding the unlocking of the 7650, the way in which it is done is with remote imei unlocking! For this the imei number is required and the network it is on! Then it is remotely unlocked!

    £30 seems to be the standard price for remote unlocking in the uk, but i'm sure that'll fall when the number of dct4 nokias increases

    Went to price one the other day. On o2 its €299 on any new contract or any upgrade option.

    When I bought it about 2 weeks ago it was 379 on first time connection (02) and it was 299 on O2 upgrade.
    Has that changed now?

    I think on speakeasy upgrade its 499.

    Vodafone are offering the 7650 for €99 on a first time or upgrade connection if you take their Performer tariff. That's €60 a month for 200 minutes on/off peak and 200 minutes call a friend for free. Not bad if you're a heavyish user.
