    Short Answer: No.

    Long Answer: Yes.

As it relates to your other thread, you cannot refuse anyone, where refusal is due to discrimination, ie based on age, sex, race or creed. So technically, you cannot refuse any travellers, and rightly so. You can refuse someone who has previously been disruptive, etc etc in the pub, but afaik, you cannot refuse to allow his mates in because he was disruptive. Where this applies to Travellers, you cannot ban an entire family because the father damaged your pub, for example. That's only afaik, it may be challengable in court.

What you can do is insist on a certain dress code, however basic (simple neatness for example), but this causes problems that if you refuse so out-of-town travellers based on this, but later they see a muck-laden farmer enter your pub, you'll be on the end of a hefty fine. I'm sure 80p will get on here and give you the proper lowdown.....
