    Alright lads...

I'm having trouble with my home network. I have 3 PCs linked togeather as follows...

PC A --> PC B by cat 5 crossover cable
PC B --> PC C by 2 wireless USB network adaptors

as PC B has 2 nics I'm having trouble connecting to PCs A and C at the same time. one will connect perfectly if I disable the other connection (using win2k pro.) however when I connect the 2 at the same time, I can only communicate properly with the first connection (the second connection can ping PC B but not the other way round) any ideas?

If A,B & C have the same ip rage ie 192.168.0.x
    Try making the network between A & B a 10.0.0.x network and the network between B & C a 192.168.0.x network.

Thanks again, that worked perfectly apart from one thing...

Computers A and C cannot talk to eachother through comp B is there any way I can set up Win2K professional as a router between them?

    I found this....

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters
    Set the following registry value:
    Value Name: IPEnableRouter
    Value type: REG_DWORD
    Value Data: 1

Thanks again lads (be back tomorrow with the next problem) :)

nah, it didn't actually when I tried it. I'm moving out of the house and I'm bringing my comp (PC b) so they can live with the crossover wire.

    Thanks anyway guys!
