They are in negocations with 02 and vodafone at the moment about site sharing. They probably won't start building until some sort of agreement has been put in place.

They have to have the service launched before Jan 1 2004. So expect a launch just before next christmas.

there is a rumour that they are looking for a deal with Towerco that would preclude Towerco from allowing 802.11 services form their masts as part of the package.

Towerco are apparently not paying much attention to them because Hutchison need Towerco not the other way around. The ESB fibre network will not be switched on till March or so.

    It's all here. www.three.ie

Have a look at their corporate website:

    http://www.hutchison-whampoa.com

    A click button to "enter"
Website copyright date 2000 in 2002.... almost 2003
A company name ending in "Limited"

Yet another gang of w***ers enters the Irish telecommunications marketplace!

i'm not sure i see the reasoning behind having limited in the company name is a problem? for one its not in the company's name it is the company's status legally. Limited Liability Company, as its not a plc its obliged to put that there.

as for the webbie, well why on earth would they be arsed populating it if it hasn't setup its infastructre yet? who'd bother to woo customers 2 years before you launch a service?
