I'm going travelling all around ASIA for 5months. And I'm just not sure about Irish Citizens visiting ASIA countries or cities, etc. Who know's?, I might never even get there cause of what happened over in USA. Ah well, I'll worry about it when I get to the airport, on March 2003.

You might want to check it out before you go, not all Asian countries will issue visas on the spot.

I know you can get on the spot 60 day visas for Malaysia and Indonesia and a 30 day visa for Thailand. Laos and Cambodia can be organised from Bangkok in Thailand but I think you'll get one for Cambodia at the border too.

Malaysia does day visas too. Singapore you don't need one. China you have to contact the embassy before travelling as far as I know to get a visa.
