    First Irish National Meeting and Dublin AGM

    The Dublin branch of Irishwan are organising the first all Ireland meeting.
    Timed to co-incide with the Dublin AGM there will be talks on wireless and a bring and buy stall.

    The aim of the event is to bring together Irishwan members from all over Ireland.

    Details follow

    The event will happen on Sunday, 27th October 2002, in The Saggart ARMS, Saggart village Co. Dublin.

    The plan for the day is as follows, may be subject to change(based on feedback on the boards)

    10AM to Mid-day Setup of Equipment and demos

    12.00 to 1.00 Registration and helping people online-wireless internet access available.
    Bring your laptops and wireless gear and go online.
    Items collected and tagged for bring and buy happening later.

    PLEASE NOTE THE BRING AND BUY IS A WIRELESS BRING AND BUY- NOT A GENERAL COMPUTER STAND (We don't have the room for PCs)

    All day install stand to help people install wireless gear.
    Rob will also be making customised pigtails and crimping connectors to order.

    1.00 to 1.30 Talk on Wireless Security
    1.30 to 2.00 Talk on long distance links and the law-radio techniques
    2.00 t0 2.30 Antenna building
    2.30 to 3.00 Antenna testing and comparisons

    3.00 to 3.15 Break

    3.15 to 4.00 Dublin Nodes coverage -The present and Future plans.
    4.00 to 4.30 Local regional meetings -Eg Dublin North West/Limerick/Cork/Wicklow etc.
    4.30 to 6.00 Irishwan national meeting with members putting forward the agenda.
    6.00 to 6.30 Buy and sell/Auction stand open to the public

    6.30 to 7.30 Break for dinner and those from ouside Dublin may head home
    7.30 to 9.30 Dublin Annual General Meeting

    Rather than take comments from different mailing lists the organisiers would prefer people to put forward their views on this agenda on the boards.
