I guess it would be better having a DS9 movie than say, a Voyager or Enterprise one, but i think the best would be none at all

DS9 film hmmmm dunno, suppose they can't really do anything with voyager, and i don't really like enterprise... would be interesting to find out what happened to Sisco

I would have my doubts about a DS9 movie...
1.Sisco is dead.
2.Chief O'Brien's gone to teach at the SF Academy.
3.Worf is err...back on the enterprise and is the federation ambassador to the klingons..
5.Odo's gone back to the link for good.
6.Dominion peace treaty signed
7.Romulan's are covered in the upcoming Trek X
Ands that just a few thing's i remember offhand...

How about how sisco's enjoying his new pad the Celestial Temple with the worm hole aliens

For some reason, i enjoy the series more than the films, as they are often a letdown.

Deep space 9 had a few things going for it. Worf obviously... The defiant when it came along turned things around big time...

OK Sisko is a fantastic captain.. Probably my fave!
The battles were usually excellent.. More battle scenes in some eps of DS9 as in all the movies put together.
It had an excellent ending but left little open for a movie... However another next gen based ep with some of the characters of Ds9 would be cool.

As Logie has pointed out the DS9 finale closed everything off a little bit TOO well. The Dominion war arc was the best thing DS9 had going - and theyve pretty much ended that now.

DS9 wasn't a bad series, but it was because of the various war arcs that made it so. The characters, actors, and many of the subplots were pretty toss. TNG is much better suited to the big screen than DS9 or VOY ever could have been, as it has better actors, characters and is more flexible for plots.

TNG's biggest shortcoming was the lack of any arcs, had TNG had a couple of long term arcs ala DS9 it could have been an absolutely superb series.

Urgh, I'd take Voyager and even Enterprise over DS9 any do of the week. Really can't stand DS9.

Is there a petition to stop it ever coming back, or ever being turned into a film? I'd sign that.

Bajor and Cardassia don't hit it off, war...... all the old crew come back to kick some ass Sisco plays a backround character has one of the worm hole people, Odo is kicked out off the link for some reason and so on.

Except for the fact that Voyager is about a country mile better then DS9.
