"no signal" on UTV and ITV2

    Hi,
    I have a problem I hope you can help me with.The problem is "no
    signal" on UTV and ITV2 (North of Ireland Sky digi box) BBC ,Channel 4 and
    five work are fine.

    1. Sky payments are paid by visa and are up to date.
    2. The system have been working fine for the last 2 years.
    3. I can get ITV(London) in the add channels
    4. The digi box is a Pace 2500 S3 silver and black front
    5. Software is 3.0.11* Signal strength 91% and signal quality 75%
    6. I have swapped my digibox with my neighbour and it works fine in his
    house.and his does not work in my house
    7. I have changed the LMB (grundig)
    8. I tried a different dish (60cm)
    9. I have changed the ct100 cable
    10 I have moved the dish to different positions on the roof (bungalow) but
    the only place I can get a signal is outside the front window.
    11.I live in a country area and there is nothing to block the signal

    I would prefer not to mount the dish at the front window

    Have and other ideas for me to try?... bigger dish etc

    I was having the same trouble with 103 and 226 with my english card in the box , and I was also having trouble with 101 and 102 on my Irish sub. The problem began when the box updated the software to 3.0.11* I also had a Pace. How I fixed my problem was by replacing my Dugibox. I now have a lovely new Panasonic DSB 31. Working like a dream for me so far.

    You can fix the problem by replacing the tuner on your Pace 2500.
    (Much cheaper solution.) Plus your ftv cards will still work.

    I was on to a chap this evening about the above problem. This fellow fixes Digiboxes for a living, and has come across this problem also and has said that he tried replacing the tuner but that did'nt fix the problem either. He made a call to another guy up in Enniskillen who has also come across this problem. This guy rang Pace about it and they confirmed to him that this was a problem caused by software which Sky sent out.

    Then your problem is not your digibox but with either you cabling or your dish.

    I think you might find it's an lnb problem... If you go here you will find some info that might help.
