Just a note esp for fans of The Office, Tommy Tiernan
starts a 4 part series in which he walks round Ireland,
its opposite The Office on BBC2.

Don't really like the Orifice and found Tommy Tiernan's Supertramp a far better alternative.

Shame that they show so little of his gigs though, most of it is of him walking around. Think it's trying to be like Billy Connolly's World Tour of Scotland or Ireland, Wales & England except that Tommy hasn't got that cool bike.

Why oh why they put it on the same time as the office.
Why not put on the instead of father ted at 21.30pm which was a repeat anyway.

    The office rules!!!!

hate the office, it annoys me.

i missed Supertramp tho, was it anygood?
i fear he might have done parts of his stand up show like a lot of comedians do when they do a tv show.

I nearly pissed myself when he started doing the sham accents. The guy is a legend, and he's local too (Galway), which is all the more reason to give him some support.

AFAIK he was born in Navan though. But I've seen him here in Galway, many times. He's a indeed a very sound man.

    POWER TO TOMMY !!
