    ...managed to do about 2 hours fihing this afternoon on the new quay in wexford...
    caught 1 cod about 1.5 to 2lbs..
    tide was ompletely wrong, but some family stuff to deal with, so it was the only time I could fit it in..
    Interestingly, mackerel have been shoaling in the harbour, and have been caught in and around the quays at dusk in the last few days.. I haven't heard of this before..(probably due to current changes with the new development, andI hear sandbanks are shifting again, but I'm not a marine bioligist) I met a guy in the pub who was feathering for mackerel near the black man in the harbour (opposite maudlintown) and catching them 4/5 a drop..
    hic..i have to buy a boat..
