Overcharging shopkeepers

Just wondering if anyone know who you can report shops that seriously overcharge the items they are selling to? I mean items like bread, ciggies, sweets and the like?

Local shop near me has always been expensive but have gone off the scale lately and tried to charge me over €6 for a pack of 20 smokes which I got later in another shop for €5.14.

Im sick of this sort of rip off crap and not only will not be using their services anymore but fully intend to land them in all the shít I can.

So if anyone can provide phone numbers or web address's for the government agencey that covers situations like this I would be greatfull.

It's against the law to set your own price for cigarettes and tobacco.
    They can lose their license.
I dunno who you can tell. The police maybe?

    Better link
    or
office of director of consumer affairs

    hope they help

Yeah, I've noticed a tiny bottle of 200ml tropicana can cost anything from €1.50 to €2.50 depending on the shop. I mean, it's just f**king orange juice....but it tastes so good...
/me hands over hard earned cash for more...

A 1 litre carton of Tropicana costs well over 4 euros in most shops - insane!

I can get a 1litre bottle of tropicana for about £1.15 (sterling...) in the north, or you can get a 1 litre carton of safeways stuff (whish is quite nice aswell...) for 20p! Their seriously ripping you off in ireland it seems :(
