Futurama used to be shown on TV3 on Wednesday at 00:30 ... with that over they have now started to show Family Guy at the same time :D

Only noticed it tonight .. i wonder how long they have been showing it for. Dont rremember it being shown last week either. At least they are repeating them though... silly time. If they were on at 5pm before the news insted of that annoying JudgeJudy crap it would be better :)

Yeah winters, according to my fantastico (does that sound gay?) computer tv listings guide, the episode on on TV3 later is Series 1, Episode 1.

Next week they're showing Series 1, Episode 2 at 00:25!!!

While I'm at it, I notice that Cha4 is showing Series 3, Episode 1 of Futurama on Wednesday 18th at 18:30

And finally, 3rd Rock from the Sun is back on BBC2, Series 6, nightly at about 23:50

I only wish that The PJs would make a re-appearance in the very near future, they were absolutely BRILLIANT!!!

    --

Don't forget, I give you my guarantee. You break it agin, I guaranteee I ain't comin' back to fix it!

    :p

    It is what it's.

don't tell me why such brilliant shows like futurama and family guy get the ****in arse end of scheduling though 00:30 :/

you couldn't really put them on at 5, they'd have to edit the **** out of them like sky1 did. I never watch family guy on sky1 because they just take out all the good bits.

Just makes you sound Italian or something.

Glad to see Family Guy back. Sky showing it at 4am didn't quite cut the mustard for me.

Also i have been watching 3rd Rock From The Sun ... nice of BBC to repeat it at 23:50 :)

i dont think they edit it at all, when i watch the simpsons on tv3 [or is it net2?] theres loads of stuff in it not in the sky 1 version of the same episode

eg. TV3 Homer: "Holy Mercifull Crap, My Car!!!!!"
    Sky1 Homer: "My Car!!!!"

    Tis Network 2 Jim .. not tv3 :D

I think Sky do kinda cut it a bit ... I hope tv3 put Family Guy ahead of Jerry Springer though.....JS tis ****e really. They seem to be all inbread yokles.

Hey y'all! Family Guy has been "UNCANCELLED." It'll be back on Fox starting May 1st @9pm EST. I am so psyched!!
Found out about it from www.fox.com/familyguy
Anyone heard anything about American Dad? It's by the same guy as FG, but I haven't seen a preview yet.

    Later.

Yeah, it's alright so far. My cousins got me a tape of the full first episode (not just the preview floating on the web). Kinda like a weaker FG but it's only one episode in. Hard to tell yet.

it would be cut to ribbons if it was on that early, thus negating the point of showing it in the first place.

Its probably because it would cost rte too much to edit

'Family Guy' is being repeated again on Sky One at the moment (it's listed in this week's RTE Guide, anyway, as being shown next week) at some ridiculous time in the early hours of the morning again, 3 a.m. or something.

I can't understand why T.V. companies insist on showing the likes of 'Family Guy', 'South Park', 'King Of The Hill', etc., at these stupid times. They should show them at, say, 11 at night or something. That way they could show them unedited and all. I remember when 'Family Guy' was first shown on Sky One they had it on at like 7.30 or 8 o' clock at night. It wasn't until I saw the unedited versions a couple of years later on TV3 (shown at a much more appropriate time of late night) that I released how much Sky had edited the hell out of it. Don't tear a show like that to pieces with editing just so you can show it in a prime-time slot, leave it as-is and show it in a more appropriate time-slot for the subject matter involved and the audience it's aimed towards, I say. If only they'd cop-on to that simple fact.

I suppose, though, at the time Sky pictured it as a replacement/direct competition for 'The Simpsons' and it's own audience but which it clearly isn't as the humour is much more adult-orientated in 'Family Guy'.
