Is there anything that you can plug into a usb port to allow you to use a firewire device.
I'm not interested in pci cards and i'm aware that there will be a dramatic bandwith decrease.

Firewire runs at approx 400mb/s depending on cable leangth. USB runs at 12mb/s and USB 2.0 runs around 400mb/s or so .. im not too sure.

Ive never heard of a adaptor for a Firewire devise so it can be used in USB and dont think its possible either. Thankfully....i got both on my pc :D
