accelerated roll out of xDSL Broadband

    Isn't it just as well they accelerated the roll out of DSL .........
    apparantly it on target. Where would we be if they hadn't turbo charged this one.

    This is basically ESAT's DSL rollout. Without it, and the government support for it, there would most likely be no DSL at all outside Dublin though we might have had some ESAT competition for DSL within Dublin.

    AFAIK ESAT have so far got Limerick, Ballina, and Cork wired up.
