sweet.. heard they were meant to play ages ago but it got cancelled or something..

anyway their site says 25th oct. €13
and limerick (savoy) on the 26th.. €11

doubt its sold out.. although it should be (listening to the rather excellent the argument at the mo as it happens)
are tickets available from the redbox themselves or where? i cant imagine a band like fugazi ever being approached by mcd or ticketmaster.

wouldn't approach the band, the venue/agent would organise that, its quite easy to get on the ticketmaster system, they have nothing to lose by putting u on, & they make about 1.50 for every ticket they sell.
i wouldn't buy from them the thieving bastards!

TM are a pain in the ass to deal with though, they internally promote the events that they have a share in, a lot of bands.events wont go near em.

TM and MCD are two are the most inept organistations in exestence...

They really overcharge for all the concerts...

    Jeez
    are they still going..
I remember a friend of mine (haven't seen him in years though) put them on with chumbawumba in the sfx..
Gig was nearly scuppered when Dennis Desmond (MCD) went running off to the owners at the time (some religious order) saying free condoms were going to be distributed..
Seems a long time ago....though it's not really i suppose.
I wonder does mr. desmond sill have his moral objection to condoms
