I'm chinese myself, so I had to go with my mother to it when I was younger to it. I'd often get weird stuff which tasted nice. It's to the left of the entrance to the Georges St Arcade.

Has anyone headed in there and picked a weird looking can of drink or food and tried it themselves?

They used to stock "Ginger Beer". It was non-alcoholic but was the strongest ginger ale I ever had, and I loved it.

I go there all the time, it's a great spot for finding things one might have difficulty obtaining in the "normal" supermarché.

I'm finding myself stopping there to try a new drink every time I'm in town - randomly picking some unknown and strange drink from the cooler.

I love going there and pass by the other ones round town - Asian in Rathmines, Arabic stores in the South side too.

I did that exact same thing and tried a drink called "Green grass jelly drink" (or something similar to that) I was parched and wanted something nice and healthy and different.

It was... the most disgusting drink I have ever tasted in my life. I don't advise you try it.

    :o

I actually love those teas with jelly gloobs, but it might be an acquired taste. :)

Never been in the one in Dublin. There's a Japanese shop in Soho in London that's quite good (pricy though) - the only place for Pocari Sweat (yummy). Not a sign of melon Fanta though.

A nice cup of good old black tea does the trick for me.
