Avoiding Cork superpubs with Dub prices.

    Superpubs are a handy meeting place for a gang, or a place to spot talent but things have got out of hand in Cork the past few years. Too many oversized cloned bars replacing the old man pubs.
    So if you don't mind an authentic old pub atmosphere a couple of classics are Maud's and The Castle on North Main St.
    A more famous pair of pubs would be the Hi B and The Long Valley on Oliver Plunket St. although the prices are rising steadily there.
    There are a few nice pubs up Barrack Street aswell such as Mox's.

    They make for an interesting start to an evening, or day long session.
