The price of data via GPRS from Vodafone UK is 0.73p/kb. Here in Ireland from Eircell (Vodafone.ie) it's only 2c/kb**, so it's 76% more than the UK. The price of data via GPRS from Vodafone UK is 0.73p/kb.

Here in Ireland from Eircell (Vodafone.ie) it's only 2c/kb**, so it's 76% more than the UK.

I don't know anything about the status of GPRS in Sri Lanka.

** There is an additional setup charge for each GPRS call you make, and because the system is a bit flakey, you end up 'setting up' a lot of these calls here. Similar to the connect & drop game that Eircom.net plays.
