Phillips CDR 765 Dual CD / CDR

Greeting all, I have a Phillips CDR 765 Dual CD / CDR, a great machine that I am very happy with. I have one query though. How can I get it to record on to blank data CDs as opposed to the ones pre-formatted to accept audio recordings. Please help E4

Greeting all,

...suggests that you can't - sorry.

Older Philips models could be "tricked" by inserting an "audio" CDR and swapping it for a "data" one before the recording process started, but this one can't.
