    Yes a great film, saw it in the Galway Film Society last weekend and so good that I've bought the DVD (it's winging it's way to me as I type).

    Saw it in the IFC last year and I have to say I wasn't too impressed. For what was meant to be a horror film it just dragged on and on and the 'beast' (for whom we had to wait longer to see than the shark from Jaws) looked about as convincing as something out of 'Walking with Dinosaurs'.

    All that said however Vincent Cassel (who was amazing in La Haine) was brilliant yet again and Émilie Dequenne was definetly watchable! :)

    I finally saw it last night and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Okay, the beast looked a bit crap but still it was a reasonably good opponent. There were a few predicatable bits but it didn't ruin the flow of the film too much.

    A thumbs up from me.

    I saw this movie maybe less than a year ago, it was cool.
    And yeah, the beast kind of looked bad --;

    it had some great martial arts scenes and i really liked the way he slodged into the mud at start off his horse - that image stuck in my mind - allthough i thought they tried to be too ambitious as far as the monster goes...why couldnt they do somthing simple :( kinda ruined it tbh :(

    and err Zanza what are u doing posting on boards.IE !
