Beam Solutions Update

Hi,
Just to let you all know that I and others in my area had a meeting with Mark Braxton recently. We discussed the setting up of the wireless service in the area and we are now getting underway to begin installation. Installation should be starting next week.

IMHO, this thread should be locked, I can't face having to read another 6 pages of unsubstantiated 'Beam' reports, just to see if there is any news.

Tummbleweed is blowing through Beams own board.

If Beam want to advertise they should take out a banner ad & support Boards.

There's a forum on the Beam website where people can air their grievances/hopes/concerns/congratulations, whatever.

I would think that's a far better forum.....Plus, check the main site Beam Solutions for updates rather than dropping in here to look for rumours, hear-say and other idle gossip...:D

I agree this should be pushed over to the Net/Comms board until Beam have a proper and offical rollout scheduled. Leaving it here is creating false optimism and rumour mongering.

I think it would be interesting if one of the admins had a look to see if kevinmcc has a similar IP as the one 'Mark' had on his boards account.

I'm sure it was an unintentional ommission, but the original posting is pretty worthless since it leaves out the location of the trial.

Since we don't know whether Mr Mc Callion will ever read this thread again, it would be better to email or PM him for this information.

MDR recently defended a First Poster about it, not sure if it was this Kevin chappy. Actually, of all the comments that have been mae so far, Delphi's hits home the most. Most of us in here are sick to death of hearing about Bloody Beam and Bloody Braxton. Do we need a show of hands? Please, move it or lose it.

Also I have spoken with Mark and he says he is rolling out in letterkenny at the moment. End of story, no more speculation pls.
