What's the going rate for PHP scripts?

There's the original quote from the client. I don't know what the going rate is for something like this, and the guy has an appointment in an hour when he needs to give a proposal, so it's kind of urgent :D It'll be PHP/MySQL backed, what should I be looking to charge?

I am building a website for a used car dealer who wants to take pictures of his cars weekly and show them with the price, VIN number and short description. If a car buyer is lookiing for a certain car I want him to able to search for a Chevrolet Impala, for instance, and come up with 1, 2 or 4 that are for sale that week. I would like them to be able to search by price as well.
